DESIGN PROCESS OVERVIEW
The designer consults with the client to assess needs, style, budget, and timeline, then measures and photographs the project space.
The designer presents initial concepts using photos and materials, develops furniture layouts in AutoCAD, and provides conceptual drawings that remain the designer's property.
The designer refines the overall design concept, developing detailed plans and elevations that illustrate key elements, materials, and finishes. This phase includes fine-tuning spatial arrangements, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic harmony.
Refined plans are presented, and purchases are made upon client approval. The designer supervises final installation but cannot always be present for all deliveries.
Design budget must be wire transferred to the designer and the designer makes all purchases at trade cost and pays all vendors directly. Custom and special-order items are non-refundable, and designer commissions are non-refundable for returned ready-made items.
The designer coordinates the placement of all furnishings, artwork, and decor, overseeing the installation process to ensure the design vision is executed seamlessly. Any necessary adjustments are made to achieve the desired result, with attention to detail in every aspect.
Upon project completion, the designer arranges for professional photography to capture the space in its best light, ensuring the design is documented with the utmost attention to composition, lighting, and styling for portfolio and marketing purposes.
